Although the japones chile’s distinctly small, slender shape and reddish color clearly make it stand out in a crowd, the transmission of heat is its most notable feature 20,000-30,000 Scoville Heat Units. Although japones chiles are mostly used in Asian cuisine such as stir fry, peanut sauce, and Thai curry, you can put these inexpensive chiles on anything! Ground them into powder and add them to red chile sauce or take individual pods and kick up the heat of your soups and stews.

Repackaging: All prices are based on bulk amounts 5 lb minimum. A $3 per box packing charge will be applied on orders which have a total product weight of less than 5 lbs.
